Mark is a blues Harp lover.  Influenced by great harmonica players like James Cotton, Jerry Portnoy, Junior Wells, James Harman, Rick Estrin, Billy Branch and Sonny Boy Williamson II. Mark studied with Grammy-nominated David Barrett. Mark has formed numerous groups over the years with a variety of some of Canada’s finest blues musicians.

James is a veteran musician well versed in various styles of music with a particular love for the blues. He has performed on bass and keyboards with many fine artists from Canada and the USA including American blues legends Lucky Peterson, Sherman Robertson and Kim Wilson and Canadian Blues stars David Rotundo, Jack DeKeyzer and Chuck Jackson plus many others.

After a few years of playing keyboard, Jim first got behind the drums at the age of 14. Over the years, he has been influenced by iconic groups such as Chicago, Lighthouse, Downchild, Gino Vannelli, and many of the great Blues artists. 
Following several years of playing with various groups in clubs and concerts throughout Ontario and in Western Canada, Jim took a hiatus from the music scene. 
Jim eventually returned to his love for music and performing, and continues to provide a solid backbeat for groups around southern Ontario.
